Glenn Lucas Bowl Gouges

Glenn Lucas Bowl Gouges all feature parabolic flutes as they are easier to sharpen and reshape. These bowl gouges are made to Glen’s specifications to help you get the results you are looking for and save time.

Featuring Glenn’s double bevel. Use for push or pull cuts, the swept back profile makes light work of most type of work.

Also included are instructions on how to sharpen Glenn Lucas Bowl Gouges to their unique profile yourself.

• The 1/2″ (GL4) is for your rough turning. Suitable for both wet and dry wood. It has a 55° bevel. Handle length is 16″.
• The 3/8″ (GL5) will make short work of fine detail work on both the inside and outside of the bowl. This bowl gouge has a 45° bevel. Handle length is 14″.
• The 1/4″ (GL5S) also has a 45° bevel and is for your extra fine cuts and is perfect for delicate work such as thin walls as it vibrates less. Handle length is 16″.
