ProEdge Trizact Belts

ProEdge Trizact belts are different to the standard grit patten abrasive belts. They have unique, rectangular and 3D pyramid grit pattens or Brick and Pyramid as Robert Sorby put it.  You cannot argue with the results that these belts give.

• The Trizact PE600T is the equivalent of a 600 grit and can be used for reshaping tools.
• The PE1200T is the equivalent of a 1200 grit for day to day sharpening.
• The PE3000T is rated at 3000 grit this can sharpen your tools to a polished finish and sharpens to two,  yes “TWO”, microns. This is the same cutting edge as a razor blade!

The Trizact belts will give a razor sharp edge, this is perfect for knife sharpening. If you use this belt to sharpen your woodturning tools you will get the sharpest, finest cutting edge but you will need to maintain the edge with frequent resharpening.

It’s recommend to use the coarse grits for reshaping tools and finer grits for keeping the sharp edge required on your woodturning tools.
