842 Bowl Gouge – No Handle

This 842 Bowl Gouge does not have a handle. Use with the Robert Sorby Sovereign system or make and fit your own handle.

The 842 range of bowl gouges are made of the highest quality high speed steel (HSS) and are supplied with a standard grind cutting tip, sharpened to a 45° angle. Designed for turning bowls the 842 range is also suitable for profiling and finishing cut on your woodturning.

842 bowl gouge range is available in the following sizes:

• 1/4″ (6mm).
• 3/8″ (10mm).
• 1/2″ (13mm).
• 3/4″ (19mm).

If used with the Sovereign system the collets required to suit each gouge are:

• 1/4″ use P/N: SOV-C10.
• 3/8″ use P/N: SOV-C13.
• The 1/2″ and 3/4″ do not need a collet.
