Finial Mandrel

The finial mandrel is designed to support the turning of finials.

This simple morse taper device fits in to the tailstock and has a set of three sizes of Delrin (a form of nylon) inserts to support the tip of the finial .

The inserts, which are supplied in 3mm, 4.5mm and 6mm sizes, fit into the mandrel head which acts as a live centre running smoothly on the high quality Rotur bearings. The tip of the finial is then supported while the rest of the finial can be turned.

The finial mandrels are available in either 1MT or 2MT sizes.
