Keyed Chuck

Keyed chuck to be used in conjunction with threaded drill chuck mandrel.

These are high quality keyed drill chucks which have a 20tpi threaded body and have to be screwed on to a 20TPI threaded mandrel. A chuck mounted in this way will withstand the forces that can be applied when used in a woodturners lathe.

The keyed chuck will accept drill bits up to 1/2″ (13mm) diameter.

These drill chucks are not to be confused with the cheaper taper push fit chucks that are commonly sold, once screwed on to the mandrel they stay on the mandrel.
