Nova cole jaws offer a simple way for the woodturner to re-mount bowls and small platters.

With a range of three sizes of cole jaws, you should be able to re-mount many different sized bowls.

With the Nova cole jaw range. The woodturner is able to simply and quickly reverse mount bowls and platters.

Cole jaws are most commonly used to clear away mounting spigots, or tidy up any unwanted mounting marks from turning.  But you could always add some decoration to the base of your work to create that extra special finish to your work.

There are three sizes of Nova Cole Jaws in this range.

8″ (200mm) Mini Cole Jaws. This set needs a minimum swing over the lathe bed of 10″ (250mm).

10″ (250mm) standard cole jaws. This set needs minimum swing over the lathe bed of 12″ (300mm).

12″ (300mm) large cole jaws. This set needs minimum swing over the lathe bed of 16″ (400mm).

(8″ and 10″ Nova cole jaws can be used on the G3 and Supernova 2 chucks. The 12″ cole jaws are designed only be used on the Supernova 2 chuck.)

Nova cole jaws secure your work on a friction grip around the rim of the work piece with. So cole jaws should be used only at low lathe speeds. Great care should be taken when mounting your work in this way.
