RS100KT Midi Multi Tip Tool

The RS100KT Midi Multi Tip Tool is a small hollowing tool for those smaller hollow form creations.

The RS100KT has the specially designed shaft with a 1/2 inch (13mm) flat face which gives stability when hollowing.  The shaft length is 6″ (150mm) and with its 10″ (250mm) handle the RS100KT midi multi tip tool is a total of 16″ (406mm) long.

Keep the flat side of the RS100KT Midi Multi Tip Tool half round shaft in contact with the tool rest. This provides more control over the tools downward forces associated with hollow form turning because of reduced tool rolling.

The cutting tips connect to the shaft by way of a clamping disc, allowing a full swivel adjustment to the tips. Use to follow any shape. The midi hollowmaster is just at home with undercuts.

Supplied with the RS100KT Midi Multi Tip Tool are:

• The RS111C midi round tip cutter produces flowing curves.
• The RS112C point tip cutter cuts crisp clean lines that you might require in box making.
• The RS222 teardrop scraper cutter shapes curves and straight cuts.

Pre-shaped at only one end, therefore the RS111C and RS112C cutters may be shaped to the users preference at the other.

For best sharpening results, sharpen the tips while on the tool. Use a diamond hone to touch up or completely resharpened on your sharpening system.
