Redesigned in 2016, these Simon Hope Double Ended Quick Release Handles have the following improvements:

• Better Grips.
• Self Ejecting Heads.
• Encapsulated Collets – releasing the head pulls the Collet free which, in turn, releases the blade.

Made in the UK using CNC processes and the Collets are made from Acetal which soaks up vibrations and prevents loosening.

If you wish to use these new style quick release heads on your older style black quick release handles, you can!

The Quick Release Handle also comes in a single ended version.

How to Configure your Simon Hope Double Ended Quick Release Handle

Choose your handle length:

• Medium Double Ended (15″ Long). – Sold out.
• Large Double Ended (20″ Long).

 

Choose two of the following sizes of Collets:

• 9.8mm Collets will fit 3/8″ spindle and 1/4″ bowl gouges.
• 13.2mm Collets will fit 1/2″ spindle and 3/8″ bowl gouges and any bar from 12.5 to 13.2mm diameter bars.
• 16.2mm Collets will fit 1/2″ bowl gouges and 5/8″ to 16mm diameter bars.
