Stratos FU-230 Woodturning Lathe, the mid range workhorse of the KS Drechselbedarf range of floor standing lathes.

This super looking woodturning lathe is not only good to look at but it’s a real workhorse with 1.5Kw motor delivering 2 horse power. This will tackle what most woodturners turn with ease.

With it’s rotating head stock large pieces of wood can easily be turned outboard.

The Stratos FU-230 also has a 24 position indexing system which is clear and simple to use.

The speed is fully at your control with it’s twin pulley system. Pulley one delivers 80 to 1350 rpm and gives maximum toque. Pulley two delivers the speed 180 – 3700 rpm. Speed is fully controllable with the Stratos’s magnetic variable speed control box. The control box is movable to a position that suits you.

Like all the lathes in the KS Drechselbedarf range the spindle thread is M33 x 3.5 and has a 2MT fitting in the spindle and tailstock.

The FU-230 would be a great addition to any woodturners workshop.
