Synthetic Onyx Powder

Synthetic Onyx Powder offers a real contrast to the wood.

The synthetic onyx powder being white looks like china so the possibilities are endless when you want to enhance your woodturning. By using the powder you can brighten up the dullest piece of wood in to something that looks special.

The powdered synthetic onyx is used by mixing with epoxy resin or glue and filling or decorating the wood. When used with resin the powder should be add once the resin is mixed and then applied.

If using with CA glue as a filler a little power is poured in to the hole then a little CA then a little more powder and so on until the area is filled. If using as a coating apply glue to surface then sprinkle on the powder let dry and brush away the excess.

Synthetic onyx powder can be sanded or turned once fully set.
